Arts, wellbeing & Inclusion
Making individual and collective creative wellbeing more inclusive
Welcome / croeso
Hi, I’m Rachel — arts instigator, mischief-maker, creative alchemist, and activist with 20+ years of experience shaking things up in the arts world.
Community, co-creation, and social change are at the heart of everything I do. I believe in making space for people to come together, share ideas, and build something meaningful — always with inclusion, curiosity, and a touch of mischief.
For 15 years, I’ve freelanced across the UK as a:
Arts Communications, Audience Development + Engagement Consultant
Programmer
Project Manager
Creative Producer
Inclusion & Access Consultant
Bid Writer
Artistic Director of PWSH
I’ve collaborated with bold, innovative, and diverse artists, organisations, and projects — always championing inclusion, community, and fresh ideas. You’ll get the best of me in a neuro-inclusive environment… or by bringing me in to help you build one. I have a filthy laugh, I’m fun to work with and I know my stuff.
In 2022, I began an MA in Arts Practice: Arts, Health & Wellbeing and was proud to complete it with Distinction in 2024. I’m now developing my practice as an emerging arts practitioner, artist, curator, access support worker — and always an advocate for wellbeing, inclusion, and collective creativity.
🌟 Available for 1-2 days a week from June 2025
Let’s create something brilliant together — with community and care!
I’m neurodivergent — diagnosed with ADHD in 2023, currently going through an autism diagnosis, and I also live with anxiety and other invisible impairments. I’m on a mission to make the invisible, visible.
I’m an intersectional feminist, driven by inclusion and social change. My work is grounded in lived experience, and I bring that into every space I work in — with care, curiosity, and a deep commitment to equity.
I’m passionate about creating opportunities for people who’ve historically been excluded from the arts. Creativity isn’t a luxury — it’s a vital force for individual wellbeing, collective healing, and wider cultural transformation.
Here, you can explore how my lived and professional experience come together.

Testimonials
“Rachel was crucial in supporting me in thinking about the importance of inclusion, wellbeing, and creating safe spaces which is one of the reasons why Deaf Together was so successful - the majority of events sold out, and the feedback suggests people want it to be an annual event.”
Jonny Cotsen Deaf Artist & Access Consultant
“Working with Rachel I always know that I will be safe and listened to and also that the pay will be fair. With Rachel’s supervision (Festival of Voice 2018 and Ladies of Rage Connect + Flourish Project 2022) I managed to realise a lot of my goals and dreams in arts and inclusion whilst making impactful projects happen and still have time to myself when needed. Rachel had confidence in my ability and a deeper understanding of how my neurodivergent brain works.”

“I worked with Rachel on PWSH Summer 2023, and again on Puppet Clwb 2024 it was a fantastic experience! I was so excited to be asked to be a part of the project, and I felt incredibly supported by Rachel the entire time. When challenges arose she didn’t hesitate to help find a solution that worked for everyone and made me feel like I was a valued part of the project. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again!”
