“It is always a pleasure working with Rachel. We’ve worked together many times - more recently on my project 'Deaf Together' in partnership with Chapter, Cardiff. We asked Rachel to be our Project Manager. Deaf Together is a Deaf-led gathering to centre the creative voices of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people across Wales. Rachel was crucial in supporting me in thinking about the importance of inclusion, well-being and creating safe spaces which is why it was so successful - the majority of events sold out and the feedback suggests people want it to be an annual event.
I was also excited to be involved in her public art project PWSH. During summer 2023, we worked with Deaf Art and Photography students from Llanishen High, Cardiff. The work she did was awe-inspiring and I was impressed with Rachel's care in supporting them. In 2017 we created a TOOLKIT for the Arts Council of Wales with Disability Arts Cymru and Deaf people across Wales to develop Deaf, deafened and Hard of Hearing audiences. I look forward to working with Rachel again because of our shared vision and the idea of social change.

“Working with Rachel I always know that I will be safe and listened to and also that the pay will be fair, it should be something you feel everywhere but having worked on a wide range of projects I have found it isn't always the case.
